Illustration Friday: Grow

This one was inspired by two tv shows I've been getting hooked into. America's Next Top Model and Project Runway. I just love watching the bitchiness between the competitors as well as the artistry in the challenges. Today ANTM was talking about 'growth' as a model and on a previous PR one designer created a gorgeous outfit inspired by an orchard...so I combined these to create this illustration. Just a quick one painted in flash.

I got this idea when I was holidaying in Mexico at the beginning of the year and would like to make it into an illustration with text however don't have the time for that this week, but wanted to post something! It was fu just to do something really cartoony.

"Open doors and hidden secrets"

Something a little different for me...some more photoshop painting. This started as just being the start of various colour keys however I started working more detail in and started to like it as a more finished piece!

I'll try and get round to doing some other colour keys and I'd like to turn this into a painting at some stage...and if you like, vote for me in the forums at Illustration Friday

character design fun

I managed to get these done before my picnic today (picnic in Central Park...how New York!) so I thought I would post them...they're for my music video project I'm working on.
